Andrew Wilcox’s experience with client development process began in 1996 as a sales representative for a Fortune 500 company working his way up to Senior Sales Director for the southeast. There he implemented a process that grew his region’s sales by an average of 57% per year for the next 3 years. Andrew went on to Thomson West where he achieved the award of President’s Club for the next 2 years as the only small market manager.

Since 2004 Andrew has been working with Fortune 500 companies and law firms to implement a sales and client development process, training over 3000 people, working with such companies as Business Objects, IBM, Rockwell Automation, VWR International, Aspen Tech, and Thomson West.

Andrew held corporate sales and sales management positions where, in addition to achieving individual awards as top revenue producer and Presidents Club. As Sales Director and VP of Sales he managed special projects such as implementing sales measurement & reporting systems, designing incentive & compensation programs and opening new sales regions Andrew is a graduate of Florida State University where he majored in marketing and minored in international business.

Andrew is the owner of Wilcox and Hackett, LLC, a legal search and client development consulting firm since 2004 where he has worked with small law firms to firms in the AM Law Top 5. Over that time, Andrew has helped place shareholders and associates and has worked extensively on firm mergers. Experience including working from the discovery of interested firms, through merger, developing business plan to training partners and associates on client development process.

Matthew is the co-owner of Wilcox and Hackett, LLC, a legal search and client development consulting firm.  Matt was raised along the east coast, from Pennsylvania to Florida.  He played baseball for Catawba College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from East Carolina University.  After graduating from college, Matt and his wife, Samantha, moved to St. Petersburg, FL for Samantha to attend Stetson College of Law.  Matt and Samantha now reside outside Atlanta, Georgia.  They have 2 wonderful daughters, Megan (11) and Katelyn (8), and also have 2 black labs.  Matt enjoys spending time with family, playing tennis, boating and supporting his children’s interests.  

Matt started recruiting in 1998 in the medical industry and after his wife graduated from Stetson College of Law in 2000, he saw a need in the legal field for a consultant that could provide quality, confidential opportunities and bridge a gap between client and firm.  He has held corporate sales and recruiting positions with a global billion dollar company serving as a Lead Business Development Manager.  In addition to achieving individual awards as a top producer, recruiter and manager, Matt was instrumental in the development of a new division responsible for the development of new prospects and coordinating key individuals with opportunities of need. 

In 2003, Andrew approached Matt about an opportunity to combine their skills as recruiters, client developers, sales representatives and management consultants into one consulting firm.  They became co-owners of Wilcox and Hackett, LLC in 2004 and have worked with small law firms to firms in the AM Law Top 5. Over that time, Matt has helped place shareholders and associates and has worked extensively on firm mergers.
